As an Intern, you will obtain your Property/Casualty insurance license and work alongside our team learning how to consult with customers, identify coverage needs, and help individuals and families protect what matters most. This is a full-time summer role with the option to continue part-time during the school year for interns who perform well and want to stay involved.
This is a great opportunity for students who are competitive, coachable, and excited to gain real-world sales experience.
Responsibilities:
- Learn the fundamentals of insurance, risk protection, and customer needs analysis
- Prospect and connect with potential customers through calls, referrals, and marketing leads
- Educate customers on coverage options and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
- Assist the sales team with quoting policies and preparing proposals
- Participate in sales training, mentorship, and team meetings
- Work toward personal sales goals while contributing to overall team performance
Compensation:
- Base pay of $15-17 per hour plus commission
- Top-performing interns typically earn $25-30 per hour after commissions and bonuses
- Average-performing interns typically earn $20-25 per hour total compensation
